How many times do I have to repeat this? Do you understand the rules? It doesn't matter WHAT THE NEW OWNER WANT.

I WANT to terminate my smart phone contract and get a new phone, but I CANT'T because I have a contract with AT&T.

If you want to stay, pay the rent on time and sign a new lease no matter how bankcrupted the existing owner is.
