I guess you're right, your girlfriend will be called up by the city court. So you still have to hire a lawyer to deal with the DA or the Judge.
How come the store is asking for $150 whereas you said your girlfriend was accused of attempting to take $400? Just curious because her case makes me wonder how much the store will ask for from my wife.
