駕照被suspending,怎麽辦呀

有個問題請教各位網友。謝謝啦。

我的朋友夜裏11點開車在一個新地方，不小心走錯了one-way。
safety officer沒給他罰單，卻讓他路考。他有24年開車經驗，DMV記錄很好。卻也
failed.

結果駕照被suspending.他實在需要駕照。請問:

1)他怎樣才能再有路考的機會(這次一定去駕校了)
2)是否要請律師。律師是否有幫助
