作為一個房東,不用事事請律師,但是最好有一個律師備用,小事勤谘詢以防變成大事。對方的理由真真假假,60-70%是硬扯上僅僅沾一點邊的。這是談判(或者敲竹杠)的架勢。你看來辦事容易讓別人抓小辮子,所以我不建議你自己再繼續處理,去找專業幫助。
The damage you are responsible for has to be foreseeable, such as the rent they paid for overstaying their last place, and the lost deposit on their moving company. You should not be responsible for the more expensive rent they paid for their alternative housing they found after moved out of your property, because you cannot foresee the rent they pay other houses instead of yours.
