I did it for my hubby (fiancee by then) 3yrs ago. It took 3 mo to get approved,and took another 2 mo for them to transfered the file from here to Guangzhou. He filled all the roms them send,and waited another 2mo to get an interview. I have to said it took us about 9 month from the day I applied until he got the visa. I think it takes longer now since they need to do back ground check on you.
