I am working in an institute. Our policy: when inviting minors to the campus, their parents need to sign Photo Release Forms, along with other forms (a lot of paperwork). Without forms, we could not use photos for marketing, including group pictures.

I am sure that would be a very nice picture with a lot of cute smiling faces.  If it bothers you so much, I would suggest you to ask the head of the school not to post that picture again. Put your request in written. They may not realize how important this issue is when dealing with minors.
