請教加州超速告票的依據

我下周出差到舊金山,會在市內開車但不想吃告票.
我這裏,還有很多地方的警察對州際高速公路上或本州公路上的車,超過限速10 miles才發告票.有的州,如德州,是白天超10,晚上超5會發告票.請教生活在舊金山的朋友,你們那兒的警察是如何發告票的?謝謝.
