回複:有誰因拿交通罰單去法院? 一般法官會詢問什麽?

Lots of people go to court for traffic tickets. Certain people cannot afford to lose a ticket. California for example. Commercial drivers get 1.5 points for each violation and cannot go to traffic school so they have to fight. People went to traffic school within 18 months cannot go to traffic school so they have to fight. People get more than 2 points, for example, driving over 100 mph, are not able to remove all of the points by going to traffic school so they have to fight. People charged with misdemeanors, for example, driving without a valid license, have to fight the ticket out in court.

Again an example in California. Typically you have to go to court twice, first for arraignment and second for trial. If the officer does not show, your ticket is dismissed for lack of prosecution. During a trial, the officer who issued the ticket will present his or her evidence. You will cross-examine the officer and put up your argument as well. If the officer is able to prove his case beyond a reasonable doubt, you lose. Again, this is what typically happened. A traffic attorney can do much more. For example, getting a plea bargain.
