how to do tax for couples in live in two states,

(1)Can we still do Fed tax jointly on one form?

(2)How about state tax? do we must do separately? or we can do together even we are in different states?

(3)My daughter is living with me, so she must be my dpenedent, or she can be with my hubby too.
