我想請教的問題是：假如，經濟轉差，我被裁員。需要求她救我，被迫結婚，是否可以立即保持在美國合法居留身份？- Technically you are out of status once you are fired, although the period before your current I-94 expiration does not count towards 3/10-yr bar. On the other hand, once you are married to a US citizen you're qualified to be granted green card, regardless how long you have been out of status, whether or not subject to 3/10 yr bar.
