Not sure what you meant. If the ticket is dismissed, why has it gone to GC collection? A ticket is going to collection if you failed to appear or fail to pay the fine. The way to handle it in Southern California is to request a new court date to either have the ticket dismissed or fine reduced. This would not work in Northern California, though. From what I heard, you cannot get out of collection without paying the fine, especially in alameda county, santa cruz county, among others. Don't know what to do if you reside in these counties.
