not sure if this be any help.....

1. in your post, you own a home, and have home owner insurance.

2. almost all policies carry some liability coverages.

3. some liability coverages clause, extend your liabilities byond homestead (usually additional premium)

4. haha, it doesn't cost anything to call up your home insurance agent, and ask....
