My situation is exactly like what you said. So do you know what kind of procedure of my application/visa renewal is called in the US Consulate? H4 Visa Renewal or should I just ask the consulate the get a Visa Stamp?

Also, I just checked the web site of US consulates in Guangzhou (I came from guangzhou) at http://www.usembassy-china.org.cn/guangzhou/niv/c/visacategories.html#F2J2L2H4.
and didn't find the web site appointment that you mentioned. Is this the right place?

My mom's disease is just getting worse today. I am going back no matter what. But I want to get prepared before I leave.
