Finsing Tickets

我帶嶽父母和 孩子去海邊，嶽父母抓了一些海騾。我們正準備離開時，警察來了並發現海騾，由於嶽父母沒有釣魚證還捉了小的海騾，要罰他們１千刀。嶽父母沒有ID，警察要了我的ID，罰了我３００刀(4 tickets)，原因是我帶他們來的。罰單是我沒有釣魚證還捉小的海騾。
BTW：我們不知道捉海騾須要釣魚證，還有大小要求。
我想上法庭，有一些問題：
１，Do I have to give the detail facts and explain in the letter when I write them I am not plea guilty?
2, How to prepare the court? What are the points that can help me out? Is it help to hire a lawyer for this case?
3, is it possible that I would be fine more or make thing worse after the court?
BTW: The court is in Delaware but I do not live in DE. I really do not want to have the charges on me. I am afraid that it could affect me in future.
