I think they will do their best to make you happy.  Make sure to put everything they promised (recovering your property original look and etc.) on paper and get it signed.  If they cannot make you happy, you can sue them.  Then, according to my understanding, the house cannot be sold when there is lawsuit pending... (I could be wrong about this.  You need to verify with realtor or real estate lawyer.)
