Misunderstanding?

I am confused about what you said. Even if you apply a 5/1 arm (you will have fixed rate for 5 years and varied rates thereafter) loan, the term of the loan is still 30 years. The term of the loan and the type of the loan in terms of fixed rate are two different things. Is there any misunderstanding?
