I worked as a consultant for a staffing company for a short time (3 weeks), then I quit, the company wanted me to stay but I refused. A China man in the staffing company who is in charge of the pay roll said his client (the third company I actually working onsite) did not pay him, he said my working time was not approved by his client, (I sent my time sheet to the staffing company not his client), I know for sure the staffing should to pay me, i have contract with them, not with his client, wether he make or lose moeny from his client does not matter to me.
how do I collect my money from this f- china man? what options do I have, hire a lawyer? sue them in small claim court? (they own me $6000), or contact labor department? please help
