The Hu*****and and Wife agree their child should be afforded the advantage of such post-high school education as may be appropriate for the interest, aptitudes, and abilities of the child consistent with the financial abilities and resources available to each party (in view of their then existing income, assets needs and obligations) at the time such educational expenses arise. The parties agree to each contribute to the expense, if any, arising from the post-high school education of the unemancipated child to the best of their ability at that time. The parties agree that the exact amount of the post-secondary education cost that each shall be responsible for will have to be determined at a future date. Post secondary education expenses include but are not limited to: tuition, room and board while residing away from both parties, laboratory and special fees, books, application and registration fees, and reasonable transportation. The parties agree to encourage the children to seek and obtain such financial assistance through scholarships loans or part-time employment as may be reasonably available and consistent with the educational program to be undertaken by the child. The parties agree to consult with each other in the junior year of high school and prior to his enrollment in any college to review what institutions the child is interested in, the costs of these and the budget both parents can afford.
