We bought a foreclosed house early this year. The previous owner told us that the bank wrongful foreclosed the house. But we received the trustee's deed and we recorded it in the county a week ago. In the same time, we file the eviction to the court. The court date is 1/31.
Today, we got a Notice of Lis Pendens from the previous owner's lawyer. They filed the case against the bank. From the notice, looks like the previous owner entitled to stay in the house.
So, what we should do in this case? Do we still countine our eviction process? to appear in the court on 1/31? What should we do now??? Need expert opinions on this...
