加州EDD 聽證，老貓請進

我一個朋友最近收到一份從加州unemployment insurance appeals board信，說他的UI有欺詐，因為在他的申請表上寫的是lay off,但雇主說是fire，一共拿了$2000多刀，朋友覺得沒什麽大事就給UI的人說不需要律師，現在馬上要去appeal了，但是google了一下，後果還聽嚴重。請問老貓，這種情況該怎麽辦？找律師還有用嗎？信上麵的code是1257（a）。
