請問為保持GC, 一定要在美有房產嗎?

正在離婚, 準前夫是德國籍/人,有美國GC. 他在德國工作生活. 幾個月會來美國一趟. 他說為了保障他的美國GC,一定要把他的名字留在我住的房子的房契上. 我不想和他離了後還沾邊,而且如果以後再婚買房把他的名字放上去也尷尬.

我覺得GC和房產沒關, 隻和他是否經常入美國境內有關? 是這樣嗎?
