有關child support的問題

去年離婚的時候，法庭判我付我前妻alimony,我前妻付我 child support。兩邊的律師都說我可以從我付的alimony裏扣除她要付的child support。我也是一直這麽做的。直到上個月才知道好像律師們沒有上交正式的文件。我就寫了一封信給我前妻。證明child support一直是從alimony裏扣的。而且，從這個月起，我開始付全部的alimony。

前幾天，接到法院的信。表示收到我的證明。同時指出，我前妻在申請Court Order Satisfaction of Child Support Payment. 最後一段是這樣的：

The Court will consider whether or not to issue an Order satisfying child support payment pursuant to Iowa Code Section 598.22A(1) if the person entitled to received the support (my name) files a Notarized Affidavit itemizing the dates and amounts of child support payments received in this matter.

我的問題是，我已經寫了證明，還需要送交Notarized Affidavit麽？我在IOWA。
