trafic court is depend local situation

If you are in a big city, usually the police never attend the court. You may automatic win. In some where, the city rely on trafic fine to survive. You have very small chance to win.

In Texas the first ticket can be dismissed by attend trafic shool. Actually the 2nd and third can be dismissed as well. I have dismissed 3 tickets in a year by attend shool (still pay money and stay in school 6 hours) but no point and no record (insurance not increase).
