求助，懷孕被裁，公司讓我自己選resign還是fire

是私人的小公司，被裁的原因是我不適合這份工作，幹活慢（進入這家公司不到一年，被裁前兩三個星期通知的公司懷孕）。讓我自己選是resign還是別的什麽，他們說不能選lay off，因為lay off是因為公司work不夠。現在我的問題是，是否除lay off外，隻有resign同fire兩種選項可選。另外

1.是否選resign對以後找新工作比較好

2.據我所知選resign同fire都不能領取失業金，那我豈不是選什麽都拿不到失業金嗎？現在家庭沒有一點收入，真得很著急。

3.如果我選fire，可以以我不適合這份工，或是幹得不夠好來fire我嗎？有沒有什麽code明確寫出哪幾種原因可以fire員工，萬分感謝！

另外感覺公司喜歡我選resign，請問這樣是不是他們fire的率比較低，交的保險稅比較少或是什麽原因。
