大家好,

我是今年5月11號畢業的學生。學校的advisor說我最遲申請時間是畢業後2個月內，於是我在5月2號左右申請OPT，今天移民局說要我追加材料。我看到一種說法是必須要在畢業後2個月以內（7月10號）前拿到OPT，否則就要回國。
-Not really. You need to file the OPT application within 60 days after you graduated, and that does not mean your OPT has to be approved during that period pf time. So, you are fine because you have filed the OPT application.

By the way, you need to find a job within 90 days after the OPT approval. This job can be full- or part-time, paid or unpaid, or volunteer as long as the job is related to your study program/major.

我想請問大家有沒遇到這種情況？是在2個月內申請還是要在2個月內申請到？
