There is always the possiblity, although most unlikely, because you probably will choose to go to trial in that case. If the case goes to trial, the outcome can be unpredictable. You might get nothing, or get a million dollar, all up to the jury. That's why most cases were settled before trial because neither party likes the uncertainty.
