回複:Right to a Speedy Trial

You do have the 6th Amendment Constitutional guarantee for a speedy trial. But, if the prosecution has reasonable excuses it can be extended by a court approval. If you want to challenge it, you have to prove the delay caused unreasonable prejudice to you, such as fading memory, dying witness, or lost document, etc. Without such proof, your chance to get an acquittal based on speedy trial right is slim.
