加州沒有所謂的new car purchase “cooling off period” rule, 所以除非dealer願意讓您退車,基本上一旦交易完成,雙方完成title轉移,您沒有話說.唯一的例外是 if the dealer has delivered the vehicle on a “subject to lenders credit approval” conditional sale, and it later turns out that the dealer cannot secure the necessary financing to complete the sale.

因此基本上法律上您沒有任何方式強迫車商退回您的購車款除非您購買的車,日後證明是一個贓車.
