You cannot have it both ways. You want money and an easy job. If money is not the concern, getting an in-house job is a piece of cake. Investment bankers work even harder. The profession has always been like this for years. You must knew it before he went to law school. I am not sure what you are complaining about? I also have to work very long hours from time to time. My longest was 42 hours without a single minute of sleep for a signing of an M&A transaction.

You have to be tough to survive in this business. Otherwise, just quit.
