stp,wal-mart,single-cat help!

Stp,Wal-Mart&Single-cat:

Two month ago, my spouse strached an ajacent car in the parking lot while backing. But did realize that. Somebody reported this to the car owner by leaving a message '***** hit your car and left'. one week later, we recieved the letter from car owner's insurance agent. A police report has been made. My insurance agency has agreed to fix that vechile. The esitmation is 200 bucks for repair. I was told by insurance agency that police will never do anything with this. So far so good.

My question is I am applying for H1B now. Just sent out application package this week. Would INS know something about this police report? Should I let them know about it? Will i finally be approved? Many thanks!!
