Stay in Canada or go to USA?

Suggestions are appreciated

1: My major is useless in China. Going back is not a choice.

2: I can go to USA to work in a restaurant which I do not want to.

3: Stay in Canada and hope for a job which may never come.

4: Go back to school, at least not now. Deadline passed long time ago and it is hard to get a F1 visa for me since I already have Ph.D. in a bad bad major.

5: I landed in Canada as a immigrant on March this year. Not much of a use.

How can I get out of my current awkward situation. Please give some advice. I know there some people may have situation like me. Educated in USA but could not find a job. Sharing of success story is also very welcome.
