請問 I-485 中的FBI Name Check 普通嗎?

I-140 & I-485 have been filed on 12/9/04 in CSC.
I-140 has been approved on 05/19/05,
however I-485 has not been approved yet.My attorney sent a INQUIRY to CSC for my case. It looks like my case is under FBI name check.

Questions:

Will every I-485 case be sent to FBI for name check? Or only a part of them.

How long will it take? By the way, name name is very popular in Chinese.

Any information will be appreciated.
