I-485 questions

Congratulations!

May I ask some questions about filling I-485?
I want to prepare the forms by myself.

In I-485, Part B.
" I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:"
I choose "h; the other basis of sligibility."because my apllication I-140 is pending. I can fill I-140 and I-485 concurrently. Is that right?


In I-765 QUestion 11;
"Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?"
Now I am in H1B status. I am not sure if the approval of H1B is counted the applied for employment authrization.
