著急請教J-1 scholar 轉J-1 student的

急請各位有經驗的指教.我的情況簡介如下:
現在是J-1scholar8月19到期,想秋季到另一所學校入學.據告知有兩種途徑change status:
1報DOS change category,但都不知具體程序?2可以到墨西哥簽證.但怕據簽後進不來,老G和孩子都在這裏(雖然current visa 上有2entries標記),想找律師帶著去簽,不知怎樣找?
