Please help on part time H1B

Floks, please help. I got a 60% position in a university, ang it will petition a H1B for me. If I want to keep another 40% in current company, from whom I got my current H1b, hwo do I deal with H1B in the company. Should I petition a 40% H1b again or I can use the current one? Thanks a lot!
