80% of the time: meeting new customers, friendly promoting his/her service, answering all your questions in general, promising the good result with no guaranty of course.
With a signed contract, ~60% of the fee would be collected up front, which would be lawyer's major revenue.
10% of the time: have contacts with CIS through the professional association. Contact newspaper, or any publication for advertisement of his/her office and service, sometimes giving free seminars somewhere to attract potential customers
10% of the time: overlook the works of his/her staff working on those signed contracts. Hopefully some of them will be approved and collecting the other ~30% lawyer fee as pure additional profits.
