h4 want to go back to china

I came to us in the end of 2000 with F2 visa, in 2003, I change my status from F2 to H4 since my hu*****and got a job and transferred from F1 to H1, this year my hu*****and transferred from the original job to a small company, and didn't change my H4 visa, he said I don't need to get the new H4 visa. Now I want to go back to china with my son who was born in american in september,anybody could tell me wheather it is easy to got the H4 visa in shanghai on my situation.thanks
