Don't confuse I94 with your entry visa. Look at the visa page in your passport and find out if it is still valid and if it is for multiple entry. If so, you can use it to ENTER the country. When you enter, immigration officer will note on your I94. I94 decides how long you can stay in the country legally after you use the visa to enter. Visa gives you the right to enter the country, I94 decides how long you can stay after you enter. Two different things.
So if your I94 is for one month, then you have to leave in one month. If your visa is still valid and it is for multiple entry, you can use the same visa again to enter and get another I94. If your visa is expired or it is for one entry only, then you have to apply for another new visa.
