I485 switch

We filed two I140(NIW and EB1) last year and I485 based on I140-EB1.I140-NIW was approved and I140-EB1 was requested REF two month ago. so We wrote a letter to INS to switch I485 to approved I140 about one and half month ago, but we haven't getten any information from INS right now. How do we know if INS has switched it successfully or not.
