You need to send fax to FBI at least once a month, asking them to speed up your name check. The number is 202-324-3367. Most likely uour file is sitting on someboby's desk, gathering dust. It took almost two years for FBI to clear my name check. It could take long had I not sent fax to them at least once a month. Only you can help yourself at this month. Neither your attornry nor your congressman can do anything useful for you regarding name check.
