I think it's really depend on the district office. My 485 was approved on May 20 in Texas District Office. and on the approval letter, it's required to make appointment with Infopass and get stamp on the passport. I just got the passport stamp today. No quesiton asked. Just make sure to bring your EAD or AP if you have
