I-485 approval notice dated on 5/10/05 says the case is approved. and the alien residence card will be mailed to me within 120 days.

They didn't have you to do the INFOPASS. actually, you don't need to go to local office. If you want to travel to China this month in your plan, you should apply AP beore your I-485 approved. That is why the officer wants you to show your proof of Emergency.

time goes up, 4 month ago, I got my I-485 approval notice, which is very different information in it.

Anyway, the officer should make a stamp on your passport for a 臨時證據 without any reason if you went there to make your approval for sure.

The woste thing is you have to wait about 45days to get your plastic card. be patient! just wait a little bit time. GOOD LUCK!
