as a matter of fact, as F1, if you want to go back to China, you MUST use AP, you have no other choice. Once you used AP, you will have abandoned your F1 status.

Unless you want to change your status from F1 to H4,but you will have to do the change first in the US, otherwise, if you leave US as F1 without AP, you would have been considered to have abandoned your 485
