These two degrees are not comparable due to two different education systems. But Chinese medical graduates (mostly have bachelor degrees) are qualified to take USMLE test, which is only available for US MDs. Doctor degrees from China are accepted as PhD. Therefore Chinese people who has both bachelar degree of medicine and Doctor degree is accepted as MD, PhD titles.
