老公現在是H1（不到一年），準備轉另一家公司。新公司找的律師發來封信，令我有些困惑，特請這裏的熱心朋友幫忙回答，萬分感謝。

其中律師說： Also, any further application process for Mr. XXX's spouse and son is not necessary at this time and will be done after the approval of his H1B as an employee of (company name).
如果H4不同H1一起提出申請，等H1批下來後再申請H4（人在美國）,H4豈不是失去身份？？？我們上次是H1 和H4同時申請的，這個律師讓我搞不懂。

律師稱這是 H1 Update, 請問H1 transfer 和 H1 update 一樣嗎？費用也一樣嗎？
