You can use your case number on your receipt to check online. You'll know it once it's approved.

It wouldn't be a big problem for you to clear up your job for a few days after you got H4 approval notice.
If you are going to have your last paycheck after H4 approved, you can ask your employer to pay you as bonous.-------Asuming you are worrying about this.
