according to the rule...

when you file 485, you have to have good faith intention to work for your employer indefinitely. But the rule does allow you to change your job or employer 180 days after 485 filing. Since it always takes longer than 180 days for 485 to be decided, people can and do change jobs before then. But my understanding is that you have to maintain work in the same field/position as your previous one.

So overall, I don't think you are really qualified if you intend to use the time just to fill in the gap.
