First and foremost, what is the nature of this RFE? If asking tax info because your company did not submit initially, that is one thing. If asking as proof of company's ability to pay proffered wage, then here is a risk for I-140 denial that you must consider, unless company was(and is) in good shape OR you HAVE BEEN paid close to the LC wage already (from priority date to now). If company's ability to pay is no problem, you should use EAD to save H1 filing/training fees. If there is a risk, extend your H1 by August.
