1. W-2 is yours. You used it to file tax returns.
2. People who wrote a reference letter for you. Email them. It doesn't matter whether you are working for them now or not (or ever, because you may have known each other in other capacity, such as at a conference, your professor's buddy, etc. other than you worked for them), but they need to keep up their support.
