The most critical thing is to be married before your 485 is approved. If you haven't filed your 485 yet, then get married then file together. If you already filed your 485, then get married and she can file to join or you can file for her after you get your GC (which I don't see why you don't want to file right after marriage).

If you get married AFTER your 485 is approved then you are looking at at least a 5 year wait before she can file for her residency. While she is waiting, she had to maintain her non-immigrant status independently and cannot be out of status at any time.
